My Journey to Costa Rica

Have you ever visited a place and instantly fallen in love with it? That happened to me in Costa Rica. After my first trip, I spent two years researching how I could make this beautiful country my home. Eventually, I quit my job, packed my bags, and discovered the true meaning of Pura Vida.

During my first 3 months here, I became certified in ESL, volunteered at an animal sanctuary, and fully immersed myself in the local culture. When I returned to the U.S., Costa Rica never left my heart. I kept in touch with the sanctuary, and before long, the president invited me back as her personal assistant — offering me a place to live while helping her run the organization. Later, I proudly became their Volunteer Coordinator, guiding others to experience the same magic I had found.

After two incredible years of volunteering, I knew it was time for my next adventure. That led me to working as an online travel agent, helping people plan their dream trips to — you guessed it — Costa Rica! 🌴

Today, I’m still doing what I love, but now I’ve taken it a step further by creating Coco Costa Rica Travels — my own business where I get to be the Boss Lady 👩🏽‍💼✨ and share the country I love with travelers from all over the world.
